Senior is a targeted demographic withing the general population that is generally defined as 50+. 50+ however is too broad when you are trying to refine your offer to a key audience segment. Seniors fall into three categories within the profile:
50-60 active lifestyle
70+ older seniors
Making sure you are selling the right product to the right subset is crucial. Defining by 50+ is not longer a tight enough target.
If you are selling RVs and Eco-Tours, you want 50-60, not 70+. Don;t let the tag senior lull you into believing you are buying a refined audience, there is more work to do from there.
